Let me know your answer in the comments section. Feel free to explain why it is your favorite variety too!
One of my favorites is 1838 Davignon 5-F nicknamed 'Horse Face'. The overall die work is relatively crude compared against most other hand-made die struck counterfeit CBHs. I have other favorites too, and I'm looking forward to hearing what your opinions are!
The 1842 1/A is one of my favorites. Van Harvey, a good friend from the BHNC, cherried one for me at a small show in Indiana, PA. It was the last show we attended together before Van passed away. Van didn't collect contemporary counterfeits, but he had a good eye for them and was able to obtain several die marriages with his help.
