1821 Davignon 2-B is from the Square Tip family, a family with 12 known varieties. This variety is known struck on billon and German silver planchets.
 
This example, from my best visual comparative analysis, was struck on a German silver planchet; I've previously sold an example of this variety on a billon planchet. This example has excellent details for the variety and all details are bold with no glaring issues. Like the other 1821 2-B I sold, examples don't usually show better than F+ details, so this is probably going to be one of the nicest examples of this variety most people see.
