This variety is associated with the Pretty Perfect family. Haven't heard of this family - well, you will soon when the next Bad Metal book is published! Suffice to say, this family currently only has 2 documented varieties, with the other being an 1833-dated variety not published in Davignon. I do not yet have XRF data on the planchet alloy of this variety but that will be resolved in short order. This variety has been confused with 1832 3-B in the past, but neither share the same reverse and neither are known to be part of the same family!
This example is on the darker side of coloration. All details are visible, albeit a bit worn.
