This variety of hand-made, die struck counterfeit Seated half dollar exhibits decently high-quality die workmanship. This is a variety and date that seldom becomes available, unlike the similar 1876 and 1878 varieties. This example exhibits good details, has decent surfaces, but with a little scruffiness on the obverse probably from being tested for authenticity.
