The 1899-S TD.1-TD.C Barber half dollar counterfeit is an interesting contemporary countereit from this period. It was struck on a German silver planchet, unusual (but not unheard of) for such a later die struck counterfeit type. And the reverse die is boldly cracked. A total of 5 examples have been documented to date. I've offered 2 other examples in the past, both sold quickly, and it has been years since I've had another example to offer
