This 1901-O VAM 60 Morgan dollar contemporary counterfeit is associated with the 'Micro O' family of contemporary counterfeit Morgan dollars. This example is in VG+ condition but appears to have been cleaned. 1901-O varieties are relatively difficult to attribute in comparison to all of the other known Micro O counterfeit dated varieties, including 1893, 1894, 1896, 1900, 1901, 1902). This variety is relatively easy to identify with the linear indent on the upper arrowhead on the reverse. This is only the 3rd example I've owned of this variety, and I sold the only other example I offered within a few days of listing.
