1911-D TD.1-TD.I is part of the Brass Bandit family of transfer die counterfeit Barber half dollars; a 1912-D shares the same reverse. This is the only transfer die Barber half dollar family yet documented. This example is really well silvered with mostly just the brass showing at the high points on the coin. Careful restoration can probably remove some dirt existing on the surface, especially on the reverse.
 
Observational point - I find it a bit odd that I have not been able to advertise die struck counterfeit Barber type coins here very much, but they do tend to be scarce if not rare to encounter overall.
