Listed here are 5 counterfeit and 1 altered pieces of U.S. paper money dated to the 1920s. Specifically, the (x1) $20 bill and the (x4) $10 bills are contemporary counterfeits, probably made in the U.S., and potentially made during the Great Depression of the 1930s. Finally, what appears to be a $5 bill is actually a relatively skillfully altered $1 bill.
 
This is an unusual and different group of pieces than what I usually offer here. Individually, the $10 and $20 pieces, when in decent condition, can sell for $100 or more each, while the damaged examples are worth about half that amount. This is definitely an interesting group of pieces to add to your collection of contemporary counterfeit U.S. money!
